Lunar New Year Celebration: Year of the Dog

First Annual Black History Month Parade

Monday, February 19: The First Annual Black History Month parade will depart Martin Luther King, Dr. Pool located at Third Street and Carroll Avenue and will travel north along Third Street to the Bayview Opera House at Third Street and Newcomb Avenue.

Once at the Opera House there will be a celebration featuring food, cultural activities, performances, and prizes. The parade and celebration will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
