Across the Bay 12K
Sunday, July 14: The Across the Bay 12K & 5K run, a footrace benefiting the Edgewood Children Center, will begin at 7:30 a.m. and travel from East Fort Baker in Marin County to Aquatic Park. For more event details, please visit http://race415.com/.
Runners will leave East Fort Baker, run over the Golden Gate Bridge via the west walkway, exit walkway into Golden Gate Bridge Maintenance Yard using roadway to Lincoln Boulevard, then proceed east on Battery East Road bicycle route and pedestrian pathway to Long Avenue. After looping around Fort Mason, runners will proceed along the Golden Gate Promenade, out the Marina Gate to Marina Boulevard, then through Fort Mason to Aquatic Park.
The following street closures will be required:
From 4 a.m., Saturday, to 3 p.m., Sunday
- Beach Street between Polk Street to Westerly Terminus
From 11:59 p.m., Saturday to 1 p.m., Sunday
- Van Ness Avenue between the Muni turn-round and Northerly Terminus
From 6:30 to 11 a.m., Sunday*
- Westbound Marina Boulevard between Marina Gate at Lyon Street and Laguna Street
Note:
* There will be a lane shift on Marina Boulevard to accommodate both eastbound and westbound traffic
Sunday Streets: The Mission District
Sunday, July 14: The sixth Sunday Streets event will take place in the Mission District along Valencia Street between Duboce and 26th streets. The route will open the roadway to people walking, bicycling and other recreational activities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For event details, visit http://www.sundaystreetssf.com//mission071419/.
Beginning at 8 a.m., NO PARKING will be allowed on Valencia Street between Duboce and 26 streets.
From 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Valencia Street between Duboce and 26th streets will be closed to all vehicular traffic.
Cross traffic at Valencia Street will be allowed on:
- 14th Street
- 16th Street
- 18th Street
- 24th Street
- 26th Street
- Duboce Avenue
SF Giants Baseball Games
Cruise Ship Schedule : July – September
Typically passengers begin to disembark 45 minutes after the ship arrives and unloading continues for a couple of hours
