The newer AutoCab payment system in all Luxor Cabs and some Yellow Cabs is not compatble with these old Yellow Travel Cards.
If you are offered one of these cards and your cab has the newer Autocab equipment do the following:
— Fill out a credit card form and call (415) 593-9256.
— Do not call dispatch directly. There are times when other people are ready to process payments and they can often do it quicker than dispatch.
— If you haven’t already, add (415) 593-9256 to your cell phone address book for speed dialing.
— Notice that there are two types of cards, one you collect and one that you do not collect.
