Events at Chase Center

Doors will open approximately one hour before each event starts.

Saturday, February 8 through Monday, February 10: The following events will take place at Chase Center. Doors will open approximately one hour before each event starts.

Basketball Games

  • Saturday, February 8: The Warriors will play against the Los Angeles Lakers. Game will start at 5:30 p.m.
  • Monday, February 10: The Warriors will play against the Miami Heat. Game will start at 7:30 p.m.

Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:

  • 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before an event ends and 45 minutes after an event ends.

Taxi Stands

  • Taxi Stands are located on Terry Francois Boulevard, one northbound and one southbound.
  • Ramp taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way (formerly South Street) at Bridgeview Way.

 

Chinese New Year Parade

Saturday, February 8: The Chinese New Year Parade will start from 2nd and Market streets at 5:15 p.m. The parade will travel west on Market Street, west on Geary Street, north on Powell Street, east on Post Street, north on Kearny Street to Columbus Avenue. The parade will disperse on Columbus Avenue between Pacific and Washington streets. For event details, visit https://chineseparade.com/.

Staging of the floats will begin at 10 a.m. in the parking lane of Main Street between Market and Harrison streets. The following street closures will be required:

  • From 3 p.m. to approximately 5:15 p.m.:
    • 2nd Street between Market and Mission streets
  • From 4 p.m. to approximately 7 p.m.:
    • Market Street between Beale and 3rd streets
    • Main Street between Harrison and Market streets

Starting at 4 p.m. to approximately 11 p.m., Post Street between Mason and Market streets will be closed for camera positioning for TV stations.

Cross traffic will be allowed within the staging area until 4:45 p.m.

From 4 p.m. to approximately 9 p.m., the following closures will be required:

  • Geary Street between Montgomery and Mason streets
  • Post Street between Mason and Kearny streets
  • Powell Street between Geary and Bush streets
  • Kearny Street between Geary Street and Columbus Avenue/Pacific Street
  • The Stockton Street Tunnel

Traffic along Market Street between 4th and 2nd streets will be diverted beginning at 4 p.m.:

  • Westbound to Howard Street
  • Eastbound to Folsom Street

Beginning around 2:45 p.m., Mission Street between Beale and 6th streets will be designated as a transit-only street until Market Street re-opens.

 

Giants FanFest

Saturday, February 8: The annual KNBR 680 Giants FanFest will take place between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Oracle Park (formerly AT&T Park). An attendance of more than 30,000 participants is expected throughout the day. For event details, visit www.sanfrancisco.giants.mlb.com.

Cruise Ship Schedule

Passengers normally begin to disembark 45 minutes after the ship arrives and unloading continues for a couple of hours.
