Dreamforce Convention
Monday, Sept. 12, through Sunday, Sept 25: A street closure of Howard Street between 3rd and 4th streets will be required for the Dreamforce Convention beginning at 6 a.m., Monday, Sept. 12, and continuing through 8 p.m., Sunday, Sept 25.
Tuesday, Sept. 20, through Thursday, Sept. 22: The Salesforce Corporation will be holding its yearly Dreamforce Convention at the Moscone Center. Conference hours will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. An attendance of 30,000 is expected at Moscone Center North, South, and West. Significant traffic congestion is anticipated in and around Moscone Center between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily for the duration of the closure, particularly on streets immediately east of 3rd Street and on 4th Street between Market and Howard streets during mornings and afternoons. Travelers are encouraged to take public transportation or use alternate routes. There will be heavy pedestrian traffic in the area.
Howard Street traffic will be detoured via southbound 2nd Street to Harrison Street, or via New Montgomery Street to Hawthorne Street to either Folsom or Harrison Street.
There will be temporary taxi stands for pick up and drop off only:
- Eastside of Third Street (northbound) between Howard and Minna streets
- Southside of Howard Street (westbound) between 4th and 5th streets
JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge

The following street closure will be required on Tuesday, Sept. 20 during time specified:
From 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Terry Francois Boulevard (northbound lanes) between 16th Street and Warriors Way
- Warriors Way between Terry Francois Boulevard and Bridgeview Way
- Terry Francois Boulevard (southbound lanes) between 16th Street and Warriors Way
- Terry Francois Boulevard between Warriors Way and Mission Bay Boulevard South
- 16th Street (westbound lanes) between Terry Francois Boulevard and Illinois Street
- Terry Francois Boulevard between Mission Bay Boulevard South and northernly terminus at San Francisco Bay Trail
- Mission Rock Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- 3rd Street (northbound lanes) between Mission Bay Boulevard North and Berry Street
- 3rd Street (northbound lanes no. 2, 3, and 4) between Berry and King streets
- 3rd Street (southbound lane no. 1) between Berry and Channel streets

San Francisco Giants Baseball Games
- Three games against the Los Angeles Dodgers: 1) 7:15 p.m., Friday, Sept. 16; 2) 6:05 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17; and 3) 4:08 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 18.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:
- Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after first pitch until the seventh inning.
- From the seventh inning until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
- Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period.
- 2nd Street, west side, between Brannan and King Streets
- 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
- 3rd Street, east side, north of King Street
Multiple Events at Chase Center
- Friday, Sept. 16: Performance by Swedish House Mafia. The show will begin at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 17: Performance by Swedish House Mafia. The showwill begin at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
- Sunday, Sept. 18: Performance by Twenty One Pilots. The show will begin at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
- Wednesday, Sept. 21: Performance by Gorillaz. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
- Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.
- There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
- Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way (formerly South Street) at Bridgeview Way.
- There is passenger loading on 4th Street which may be accessed by walking west on Gene Friend Way pedestrian path.
- There is also passenger loading on Owens Street by continuing west on Gene Friend Way pedestrian path.
Grace Notes Community Music Festival
- On Saturday, Sept. 17, there will be a small music festival and community gathering on the site of the historical Black Hawk Jazz Cafe and the playground across Hyde Street, as well as in the street. The Hyde Street Community Music Program at Demonstration Gardens is sponsoring the Grace Notes Music Festival Summer 2022 in partnership with SEIU Local 87, Friends of Turk & Hyde St, Hyde Street Studios, and Faithful Fools.A closure of Hyde Street between Turk and Eddy streets will be required from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17.This event will be repeated on Saturday, Oct. 8.
SF Low Riders in the Mission

Saturday, Sept. 17: The San Francisco Low Rider Council will be gathering in the Mission District starting at 2 p.m. and will continue until 9 p.m. Event will take place on Mission Street between 22nd and 25th streets and on 24th Street between Bartlett and Capp streets.
Travelers heading the event area should allow extra travel time, should expect heavy traffic and possible street closures around the event area during the event hours:
- Mission Street between 22nd and 25th streets
- 24th Street between Bartlett and Capp streets
Sunday Streets: Western Addition

Sunday, Sept. 18: The sixth Sunday Streets event will be held in the Western Addition. The route will travel through the Western Addition, North Panhandle, Fillmore and Japantown neighborhoods. The route will be available for recreational activities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free to all participants. For further event details, visit www.sundaystreetssf.com.
The following street closures will be required from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:
- Fillmore Street between Fulton Street and Geary Boulevard
- Fulton Street between Baker and Fillmore streets
- Baker Street between Fulton and Fell streets
- Broderick Street between McAllister and Grove streets
- Grove Street between Broderick and Lyon streets
- Intersections: Fulton and Grove streets at Baker Street; Broderick Street at Grove Street; Broderick, Scott, Pierce and Steiner streets at Fulton Street; Fulton, Golden Gate, Turk and O’Farrell streets at Fillmore Street
Cross traffic will be allowed on Hayes, Divisadero, McAllister and Eddy streets.
Leather Pride Festival and Leather Walk

Sunday, Sept. 18: The annual Leather Pride Festival and Leather Walk will be held on Sunday, Sept. 18. The Leather Walk is scheduled to depart City Hall at 11:30 a.m. and arrive at the Leather Pride Fest at 2:30 p.m. For more event details, visit https://sfleatherdistrict.org.
