Event at Golden Gate Park

Thursday, April 20: A large group of participants is expected to gather at Robin Williams Meadow (formerly Sharon Meadows) and in the Alvord Lake area in the southeast of Golden Gate Park.
No street closures are planned, but heavy pedestrian traffic is expected before and after 4:20 p.m. Personnel from San Francisco Police Department may enforce street closures if necessary for public safety.
Extensive delays and heavy pedestrian traffic are expected around the event area. Motorists who normally use Lincoln Way, Fell or Oak streets to travel between the Sunset District and downtown are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes. Heavy traffic and delays are also anticipated for Fulton Street, on both sides of Stanyan Street. Motorists should anticipate that Kezar Drive will be closed from early afternoon until early evening.

The following street closures will be implemented for this event:- From 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.:
- Polk Street between Broadway and Pacific Street
- From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.:
- Polk Street between Pacific and Jackson streets
- Pacific Avenue between Van Ness Avenue and Larkin Street

San Francisco Giants Baseball Game
Thursday, April 20 through Thursday, April 27: The San Francisco Giants will have eight games at the ballpark. Listed below are start times for these games and SF Giants to play:
- Four games against the New York Mets: 1) 6:45 p.m., Thursday, April 20; 2) 7:15 p.m., Friday, April 21; 3) 1:05 p.m., Saturday, April 22; and 4)4:10 p.m., Sunday, April 23.
- Four games against the St. Louis Cardinals: 1) 6:45 p.m., Monday, April 24; 2) 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, April 25; 3) 6:45 p.m., Wednesday, April 26; and 4) 12:45 p.m., Thursday, April 27.

Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:
- Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after first pitch until the seventh inning.
- From the seventh inning until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
- Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period.

- 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
- 3rd Street, east side, north of King Street
Events at Chase Center
Thursday, April 20 and Sunday, April 23: The Warriors will play two games at the Chase Center:
- Thursday, April 20: The Warriors will play against the Sacramento King. Game will start at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
- Sunday, April 23: The Warriors will play against the Sacramento Kings. Game will start at 12:30 p.m. Doors will open at 11 a.m.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
- Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.
Taxi Stands
- There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
- Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.
