Chinatown Night Market

Friday, June 14: The monthly night market will take place in Chinatown. This is an event that takes place on the second Friday of each month, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

The following street closures will be required from 3 to 10 p.m., Friday:

  • Grant Avenue between Sacramento and Jackson streets
  • Commercial Street between Kearny Street and Grant Avenue
  • Intersection: Grant Avenue and Commercial Street
All other intersections will remain open.

Sikh Festival

  • Saturday, June 15: The Sikh Festival will be held in Civic Center Plaza.There will be a street closure of Grove Street between Polk and Larkin streets from 10 p.m., Friday, June 14 to 10 p.m., Saturday 15 for the festival.

Juneteenth Freedom Celebration

Saturday, June 15: The annual Western Addition Juneteenth celebration will take place on Fillmore Street from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For additional information visit https://juneteenth-sf.org.

The following street closure will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., Saturday:

  • Fillmore Street between Geary Boulevard and Fulton Street
  • O’Farrell Street between Fillmore and Steiner streets
  • Golden Gate Avenue between Steiner and Webster streets
  • Eddy Street between Steiner and Webster streets
  • Turk Street between Steiner and Webster streets
  • McAllister Street between Steiner and Webster streets
  • Fulton Street between Fillmore and Laguna streets
  • Closed intersections: Fillmore Street at O’Farrell Street, Golden Gate Avenue, Eddy, Turk, McAllister, and Fulton streets

North Beach Festival

Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16: The 68th annual North Beach Festival will take place in the North Beach District. Event will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., each day. For more details, visit northbeachfestival.org.

The following street closures will be required from 1 a.m., Saturday, June 15 to 11:59 p.m., Sunday, June 16:

  • Columbus Avenue between Broadway and Green Street
  • Grant Avenue between Columbus Avenue and Filbert Street
  • Stockton between Columbus Avenue and Filbert Street
  • Green Street between Grant and Columbus avenues
  • Vallejo Street between Margrave Place and Stockton Street
  • Intersections: Vallejo and Green streets at Grant Avenue, Grant Avenue at Columbus Avenue

Juneteenth Bayview Father’s Day Festival

Sunday, June 16: The annual Juneteenth celebration will take place from noon to 6 p.m. at Gilman Park. For additional details, visit www.sf-juneteenth.com.

The following street closures will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

  • Gilman Avenue between Bill Walsh Way and Hawes Street
  • Bill Walsh Way between Gilman and Ingerson avenues
  • Ingerson Avenue between Bill Walsh Way and Gilroy Street

San Francisco Giants Baseball Games

  • Friday, June 14 through Sunday, June 16: The San Francisco Giants will play three home games at the ballpark. Listed below are start times for these games:
    • Three games against the Los Angeles Angels: 1) 7:15 p.m., Friday, June 14; 2) 1:05 p.m., Saturday, June 15 and 3) 1:05 p.m., Sunday, June 16.

    Street Closures

    To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:

    • Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after first pitch until the seventh inning.
    • From the seventh inning until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
    • Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period.

    • 2nd Street, west side, between Brannan and King Streets
    • 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
    • 3rd Street, west side, north of King Street
