Sunset Night Market
Friday, Sept. 27: The Sunset Night Market is a free, all-ages street events featuring food and retail vendors, kids activities, local music and performances. The event will take place on Irving Street between 19th and 26 avenues, from 5 to 10 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27.
The following street closures will be required from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., Friday:
- Irving Street between 19th and 26th avenues
- Intersections closed: 21st, 22nd; 23rd 24th, and 25th avenues on Irving Street
(Only Muni buses will be allowed)
San Francisco Giants Baseball Games
- Three games against the St. Louis Cardinals: 1) 7:15 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27; 2) 1:05 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28; and 3) 12:05 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 29.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:
- Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after first pitch until the seventh inning.
- From the seventh inning until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
- Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period.
- 2nd Street, west side, between Brannan and King Streets
- 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
- 3rd Street, west side, north of King Street
Richmond District Autumn Moon Festival
Saturday, Sept. 28: The Richmond District Autumn Moon Festival will take place on Clement Street between 7th and 11th avenues, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
The following street closures will be required from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday:
- Clement Street between 7th and 11th avenues
- 9th Avenue between Clement Street and 50’ north of Clement Street
- Intersections closed: 8th, 9th and 10th avenues at Clement Street
Portola Music Festival
Saturday, Sept. 28 and Sunday, Sept. 29: Portola Music Festival is a new 2-day music festival taking place at Pier 80. Concerts will play on four stages from noon to 11 p.m., each day, Saturday and Sunday. Expected attendance is 32,500 participants. For event details visit portolamusicfestival.com.

- Cesar Chavez Street between Michigan and Maryland streets
- Marin Street between Illinois and Maryland streets

- Marin Street between 3rd and Illinois streets
- Michigan Street between Cesar Chavez and Marin streets
- Illinois Street between Amador and 24th streets
- 25th Street between 3rd and Michigan streets (only Muni buses will be allowed)
8 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 29, to 1 a.m., Monday, Sept. 30
- 3rd Street between Cargo Way and 23rd Street (only Muni buses will be allowed)
- Cesar Chavez Street between Minnesota and 3rd streets
- 23rd and 24th streets between 3rd and Illinois streets
- Illinois Street between 22nd and 24th streets
Folsom Street Fair
Sunday, Sept. 29: The annual Folsom Street Fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Attendance is expected to be significantly lower than in past years, with about 30,000 anticipated over the course of the day. For event details visit https://www.folsomstreet.org/megaho.
The following street closures will be required from 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28 to 11:59 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 29:
- Folsom Street between 8th and 13th streets
- 9th Street between Howard and Harrison streets
- 10th Street between Howard and Harrison streets
- 11th Street between Howard and Harrison streets
- 12th Street between Howard and Harrison streets
- All alleys and intersections bounded by 8th, Howard, 13th and Harrison streets
Fiesta on the Hill
Sunday, Sept. 29: BHNC will hold its Fiesta on the Hill in the Bernal Heights neighborhood on Cortland Avenue between Bocana and Folsom streets. The community event will host seven blocks of food vendors, arts and crafts and local goods and services. Event will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more details, see https://bernalfiesta.com/.
