Castro Night Market

Friday, Oct. 18: The Castro Night Market will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. on 18th and Castro streets. For more details, visit castro-night-market.

The following street and parking lot closures will be required from noon to midnight, Friday:

    • 18th Street between Collingwood and Hartford streets
    • The SFMTA parking lot behind Walgreens

Events at Chase Center

Friday, Oct. 18 through Sunday, Oct. 20: There will be events to take place at the Chase Center:
  • Friday, Oct. 18: The Warriors will play their pre-season game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Game will start at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 20: Charli XCX & Troye Sivan will perform at Chase Center. Show will start at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:

  • 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
  • Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.

Taxi Stands

There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.

Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.

Top of the Hill Festival

Saturday, Oct. 19: Daly City’s Top of the Hill Festival will take place in Daly City’s Top of the Hill area at John Daly Boulevard and Mission Street. Event will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For event details visit www.dalycity.org .

Mission Street between Bepler Street and John Daly Boulevard will be closed for the event.

Potrero Hill Festival

Saturday, Oct. 19: The annual Potrero Hill Festival will take place in the Potrero Hill neighborhood from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 20th Street between Wisconsin and Missouri streets. An attendance of 1,500 is expected. For event details visit potrerofestival.com.

The following street closures will be required from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.:

  • 20th Street between Wisconsin and Missouri streets
  • Connecticut Street between 19th Street and southerly terminal
  • Missouri Street between 19th and 20th streets
  • Intersection:  Connecticut and Missouri streets at 20th Street

Music City Songwriters Festival

Saturday, Oct. 19: The third annual Music City Songwriters Festival, organized by Music City San Francisco, aims to strengthen the ecosystem of live music in San Francisco while adding vibrancy to the Lower Polk Neighborhood will take place from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday. The following street closures will be required from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday:

  • Polk Street between Bush and Sutter streets
  • Fern Street between Van Ness Avenue and Larkin Street

Clement Street Art Fair

Saturday, Oct. 19: The first ever Clement Street Art Fair, a fun filled day of lively music, local makers, and great community, will offer a festive fall afternoon filled with creativity, community, and entertainment. The event will take place on Clement Street between 6th and 8th avenues from noon to 5 p.m.

A street closure of Clement Street between 6th and 8th avenues will be required from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Bearrison Street Fair

Saturday, Oct. 19: The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the Bears of San Francisco will be holding the third annual Bearrison Street Fair. The event will be held primarily on Harrison Street between 10th and 13th streets. Expected attendance is 2,500. For more details visit https://www.bearrison.org/.

The following street closures will take effect from Noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday:

  • Harrison Street between 10th and 13th streets
  • 11th Street between Folsom and Divison streets
  • 12th Street between Bernice and Harrison streets

Taxi Stands

There is one temporary taxi stand located on the 390-398 block of 10th Street at Harrison Street for pick-up and drop-off only.

Sunday Streets / Phoenix Day Block Party

Sunday, Oct. 20: The 4th Annual Sunday Streets Phoenix Day that will be spread out across the City, featuring neighborhood block parties and pop-ups. The event will include a “cross city connector bike ride” and dozens of neighbor-hosted block parties citywide. Sunday Streets is free and open to the public.
