Bhangra and Beats Night Market

  • Friday, July 25: A dance party and social event will take place in the vicinity of Battery and Clay streets from 5 to 10 p.m. For more details, visit bhangraandbeats.com.

    The following street closures will be required from noon, Friday, July 25 to 2 a.m., Saturday, July 26:

    • Front Street between California and Clay streets
    • Sacramento Street between Davis and Battery streets
    • Halleck Street between Front and Battery streets
    • Intersections Closed: Front and Sacramento streets; and Front and Halleck streets

Events at Chase Center

Thursday, July 24 through Saturday, July 26: Two concert performances will be held at the Chase Center:
  • Thursday, July 24: Performance by Lady Gaga will take place. The concert will start at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
  • Friday, July 25: The Golden State Valkyries will play against the Dallas Wings at the Chase Center. The game will start at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 26: Performance by Lady Gaga will take place. The concert will start at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:

  • 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
  • Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.

Taxi Stands

There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.

Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.

San Francisco Giants Baseball Games

Friday, July 25 through Wednesday, July 30: The San Francisco Giants will play six games at the ballpark. Listed below are the start time for these games:
  • Three games against the New York Mets: 1) 7:15 p.m., Friday, July 25; 2) 6:05 p.m., Saturday, July 26; and 3) 4:10 p.m., Sunday, July 27.
  • Three games against the Pittsburg Pirates: 1) 6:45 p.m., Monday, July 28; 2) 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, July 29; and 3) 12:45 p.m., Wednesday, July 30.

Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:

  • Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after the first pitch until the seventh inning.
  • From the seventh inning until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
  • Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period.

  • 2nd Street, west side, between Brannan and King Streets
  • 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
  • 3rd Street, west side, north of King Street

San Francisco Marathon

  • Sunday, July 27: The annual San Francisco Marathon will begin from The Embarcadero and Mission Street at 5:30 a.m., with staggered starts beginning at 5:15 a.m. The race route will loop north along The Embarcadero, through Fisherman’s Wharf and the Marina into the Presidio and onto Golden Gate Bridge, then south through the outer Richmond District on 26th and 27thavenues. The race will continue through Golden Gate Park, and then through the Haight, crossing Market Street at Guerrero, and then continuing through the Mission District primarily on 16th Street into Mission Bay and then back to The Embarcadero. An attendance of up to 27,500 runners is expected for all the events, which include a half marathon, 5K and 10K in addition to the full marathon. For more event details, visit www.thesfmarathon.com.

    This will be a large citywide running event. Traffic around the City will be affected as soon as the race begins. The following are travel options to cross the marathon route:

    East/West Travel

    • Richmond District: all streets with exceptions of Lake Street and El Camino de Mar
    • Dogpatch: 18th and 20th Street
    North/South Travel
    • Great Highway (North of Lincoln Avenue)
    • 19th Avenue
    • Steiner Street
    • Fillmore Street
    • Valencia Street
    • Mission Street
    • South Van Ness Avenue
    • Folsom Street (from 15th to 17 streets)
    • Bryan Street
    • Potrero Avenue
    • Kansas Street
    • De Haro Street
    • Pennsylvania Street

    Travelers should expect transit and travel delays due to street closures during the race and crowds of racers and spectators both before and after the race. The race will begin at 5:30 a.m. and conclude in the early afternoon.

    Various additional street closures will be required between midnight to 3 p.m. on Sunday, throughout the race route including in the Presidio and Golden Gate Park, with the majority not being implemented until later, in the early morning hours and being removed as soon as possible after the races have passed.     Taxi Service: Between 12:01 a.m. and 7 p.m., Sunday, July 27, there will be temporary taxi stands for the event at the following locations:

    • Clay Street between Drumm and Davis streets
    • North side of Drumm Street (Six Spots Only)

Up Your Alley Fair

Sunday, July 27: The Up Your Alley Street Fair will be held in the South of Market area between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. For event details visit www.folsomstreet.org/up-your-alley.

The following street closures will be required from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., Sunday, July 27:

  • Folsom Street from 9th to 11th streets
  • 10th Street from Howard to Harrison streets
  • Dore Street from Howard to Sheridan streets
  • Intersection: 10th and Dore streets at Folsom Street
There will be a temporary taxi stand with two spaces on 9th Street, west side, south of Folsom Street.
