Downtown First Thursdays
Thursday, Nov. 6: The Downtown First Thursdays (DFT) event will take place on 2nd Street from 5 to 10 p.m. This is a free monthly street party that takes place every first Thursday of the month. For event details, visit www.dftsf.com.
The following street closures will be required from noon until midnight, Thursday:
- 2nd Street between Market and Folsom streets
- Clementina Street between 2nd and 1st streets
- Jessie Street between New Montgomery and 2nd streets
- Minna Street between New Montgomery and 1st streets
- Natoma Street between New Montgomery and 1st streets
- Stevenson Street between New Montgomery and 1st streets
- Tehama Street between Hawthorne and 1st streets
Events at Chase Center
- Friday, Nov. 7: Performance by Shane Gillis will take place. Show will begin at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov. 9: The Warriors will host a home game against the Indiana Pacers. Game will begin at 5:30 p.m. Doors will open at 4 p.m.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after the event.
Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.
Taxi Stands
There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.
Larkin Street Roadway Shared Space
Saturday, Nov. 8: The Tenderloin Lower Polk Merchants and Property Owners Association will host their monthly Roadway Shared Space on Larkin Street.
Larkin Street between Eddy and O’Farrell streets will be closed from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 8.
Veterans Day Parade
Sunday, Nov. 9: The annual Veterans Day Parade will take place. Formation will begin at 9 a.m. with parade to commence at 11 a.m. from North Point Street and The Embarcadero to Aquatic Park, via The Embarcadero and Jefferson Street.
The Embarcadero north of North Point and Jefferson streets to Aquatic Park will be closed to traffic during the parade, approximately between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
