
San Francisco Giants Exhibition Games and Opening Series
Friday, March 27 through Saturday, March 28: The San Francisco Giants is continuing the 2026 season at home against the New York Yankees. Listed below are start times for these games: 1) 1:35 p.m., Friday, March 27 and 3)4:15 p.m., Saturday, March 28.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:
- Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after first pitch until the seventh inning.
- From the seventh inning until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
- Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period.
- 2nd Street, west side, between Brannan and King Streets
- 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
- 3rd Street, east side, north of King Street

Events at Chase Center
- Friday, March 27: The Warriors will host a home game against the Washington Wizards . Game will begin at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, April 1: The Warriors will host a home game against the San Antonio Spurs . Game will begin at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after the event.
Taxi Stands
There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.

AICD 6th Anniversary and State Recognition Celebration
Saturday, March 28: American Indian Cultural District’s 6th anniversary and state recognition celebration will take place on Valencia Street from 15th and 18th streets. Event hours will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a parade highlighting American Indian and Indigenous cultures. This is a family-friendly free public event. The following street closures will be required from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, March 28:
- Valencia Street between 15th and 18th streets
- Julian Avenue between 14th and 15th streets
- Clarion Alley between Valencia and Mission streets
- Sycamore Street between Valencia and Lexington streets

No Kings San Francisco March
Saturday, March 28: A march will take place from Embarcadero Plaza up Market Street to Civic Center Plaza at noon. For more details visit https://indivisiblesf.org .
Heavy traffic and congestion are anticipated, particularly areas in north of Market Street, east of Van Ness Avenue and in the Civic Center area. Use of Muni Metro for transit to and from downtown is recommended.


Golden State 5K
Sunday, March 29: The Golden State Warriors and Mascot Sports are proud to produce the second annual Golden State 5K, presented by Kaiser Permanente. The event features 5K run with a wellness festival with pre- and post-race activities. This event will anticipate over 5,000 runners. For more details visit www.chasecenter.com/golden-state-5k .
The following street closures will be required from 3 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, March 29:
- Illinois Street between Mariposa and 18th Street
- Northbound 3rd Street between Mission Rock and King streets
