 San Francisco Symphony Gala

The following street closure will be required from 6 a.m Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, 4 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023:

  • Grove Street between Franklin Street and Van Ness Avenue.

Autumn Moon Festival

Saturday, Sept. 23, and Sunday, Sept. 24: Chinatown’s annual Autumn Moon Festival will take place on Grant Avenue from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. For more information, visit https://www.moonfestival.org/ .

The following street closures will be required from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 10 pm to 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24:

  • Grant Avenue between California Street and Broadway

  • The intersection of Grant Avenue at Commercial Street

Folsom Street Fair

The following street closures will be required from 7 p.m. Saturday Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24:

  • Folsom Street between 8th and 13th Streets

  • 10th Street between Howard and Harrison Streets
  • 11th Street between Howard and Harrison Streets
  • 12th Street between Howard and Harrison streets
  • Dore Street between Howard Street and terminus
  • All alleys and intersections bounded by 8th, Howard, 13th, and Harrison Streets

Bar Iris Anniversary Party

Sunday, Sept. 24: Bar Iris will be holding its annual anniversary block party.

The following street closures will be required from Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023, 12 noon to 10 p.m.

Steamroller Printing Festival 

Sunday, Sept. 24: San Francisco Center for the Book celebrates twenty years of the Roadworks Steamroller Printing Festival with a family-friendly, daylong block party. For more information, see https://sfcb.org/roadworks2023.

San Francisco Giants Baseball Games

Monday, Sept. 25 to Wednesday, Sept. 27: The San Francisco Giants will play three home games at the ballpark. The start time for these games are listed below:
•     Three games against the San Diego Padres: 1) 6:45 p.m., Monday, Sept. 25; 2) 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 26; and 3) 6:45 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 27

To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:
  • Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after first pitch until the seventh inning.
  • From the seventh inning until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
  • Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period.
Taxi Stands
  • 2nd Street, west side, between Brannan and King Streets
  • 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
  • 3rd Street, east side, north of King Street

Events at Chase Center

Tuesday, Sept. 26: The Arctic Monkeys will perform at Chase Center. The show begins at 8 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m.
Supplemental Muni Service
  • Muni will operate supplemental 78X Arena Express service:
  • Pre-event express shuttle service from 16th Street BART Station to Chase Center will start two and a half hours before each game/event and will end one hour after game/event starts.
  • Post-event express shuttle service from Chase Center on 16th Street to 16th Street BART Station will run until the area clears.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
  • 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
  • Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16thstreets. 
Taxi Stands
There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.
