SF Giants Baseball
Friday, April 5 through next Wednesday, April 10: The San Francisco Giants will play six home games at Oracle Park:
- Friday, April 5 through Sunday, April 7: The San Francisco Giants will start regular season games by playing three home games against the Tampa Bay Rays. Below are start times for these games: 1) 1:35 p.m., Friday; 2) 1:05 p.m., Saturday; and 3) 1:05 p.m., Sunday.
- On Sunday, April 7, parking meters in the Special Event Zone near the ballpark will be enforced.
- Monday, April 8 through Wednesday, April 10: The San Francisco Giants will play three games against San Diego Padres. Below are start times for these games: 1) 6:45 p.m., Monday; 2) 6:45 p.m., Tuesday; and 3) 12:45 p.m., Wednesday.
Due to a Wednesday, April 10 special event in Oracle Park Lot A and associated set-up and tear down activities, fewer parking spaces than normal will be available in the Lot A and Pier 48 parking lots from Saturday, April 6 through Friday, April 12. Baseball fans are encouraged to take public transportation to home games during this period.
San Francisco Walk Against Rape March (SFWAR March)
Saturday, April 6: The 14th annual San Francisco Walk Against Rape March (SFWAR March) will take place in the Mission District. The walk will begin and end at The Women’s Building at 18th and Dolores streets. The march will start at noon. For details of the route, please visit http://www.sfwarevents.org/.
Streets along the route may be temporarily closed while the march passes through.
The following Muni routes will be affected beginning at 11:30 a.m.: 12 Folsom/Pacific; 14 Mission; 14R Mission Rapid; 33 Ashbury/18th; 48 Quintara/24th Street; 49 Van Ness/Mission; 55 16th Street; and 67 Bernal Heights.
Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon San Francisco
Sunday, April 7: The Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon will begin at Pier 35. The race will start at 6:15 a.m. and is scheduled to end at 11:30 a.m. The 13.1-mile course will take runners across the Golden Gate Bridge, past Marina Green and Fort Mason, returning to the historic Ghirardelli Square and Aquatic Park to finish. - The Embarcadero between Bay and Mason streets
From 5:30 to 7:20 a.m., Sunday
- Mason Street between Jefferson and Bay streets
From 5:30 to 7:40 a.m., Sunday
- Bay Street (westbound lanes) between Mason Street and Van Ness Avenue
From 5:30 to 8 a.m., Sunday
- Bay Street (westbound lanes) between Van Ness Avenue and Laguna Street
From 8 to 11:15 a.m., Sunday
- Bay Street (one westbound lane) between Polk and Laguna streets
From 5:30 to 11:10 a.m., Sunday
- Laguna Street (northbound) between Bay Street and Marina Boulevard
From 5:30 to 11:05 a.m., Sunday
- Marina Boulevard between Laguna Street and Old Mason Road
From 5:30 to 11:30 a.m., Sunday
- North Point Street between Van Ness Avenue and Polk Street
- Polk Street between North Point and Beach streets
Note: Local access will be allowed. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the event area until after the race has finished.
Cruise Ship Schedule : April – June
Typically passengers begin to disembark 45 minutes after the ship arrives and unloading continues for a couple of hours
