Matrix 4 Premiere at the Castro Theatre
On Saturday, Dec. 18, the world premiere of Matrix 4 will take place at the Castro Theatre from approximately 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.
To facilitate the event, Castro Street between Market and 18th streets will be closed from 6 a.m., Friday, Dec. 17 to 10 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 19.
During the street closure from Friday to Sunday, the 24 Divisadero Muni route will be rerouted.
During the event on Saturday afternoon and evening, the Intersection of 18thand Castro streets will be closed to traffic except for Muni buses, limousines, and event shuttles.

Friday, Dec. 17 and Sunday, Dec. 19: Metallica will perform at the Chase Center:
- Friday, Dec. 17: Show will start at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 19: Show will start at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Monday, Dec. 20: The Warriors will play against the Sacramento Kings.Game will start at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
- Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.
- There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
- Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way (formerly South Street) at Bridgeview Way.
