SantaCon SF
Saturday, December 7: The annual SantaCon SF event will begin at Union Square where people will dress up in Santa costumes walking through the streets spreading good cheer. There will be no planned streets closures or transit impact, however, there will be heavy pedestrian activities in downtown and North Beach area.
Winter Walk SF
Now through Tuesday, December 31, 2019: The annual Winter Walk is relocating from Stockton Street to Grant Avenue between Geary and Post streets, and on Maiden Lane. Winter Walk will be active from Friday, November 29 through Tuesday, December 31, 2019. A diverse program of activities is planned with food trucks, vendors, live performances and an open air beer and wine garden. For more details of Winter Walk SF, visit https://www.winterwalksf.com/.
The following street closures will be required from Monday, November 25, 2019 through Friday, January 3, 2020:
- Grant Avenue between Post and Geary streets
- Maiden Lane between Stockton and Kearny streets
Doors will open approximately one hour before each event starts.
Concerts:
- Saturday, December 7: Trevor Noah will be performing. Show will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Basketball Games
- Monday, December 9: The Warriors will play against the Memphis Grizzlies. Game will start at 7:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 11: The Warriors will play against the New York Knicks. Game will start at 7:30 p.m.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before an event ends and 45 minutes after an event ends.
Taxi Stands
- Taxi Stands are located on Terry Francois Boulevard, one northbound and one southbound.
- Ramp taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way (formerly South Street) at Bridgeview Way.
Cruise Ship Schedule : October – December
Typically passengers begin to disembark 45 minutes after the ship arrives and unloading continues for a couple of hours.
