Events at Chase Center
Saturday, Dec. 9: The WBC World Super Lightweight Title boxing match Haney v. Prograis will take place at the Chase Center from 2:55 p.m. to 10 p.m. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
- Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16thstreets.
Taxi Stands
There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.
La Cruzada Guadalupana Pilgrimage
Saturday, Dec. 9: La Cruzada Guadalupana Pilgrimage is a yearly event that starts in South San Francisco and proceeds through San Francisco to St. Mary’s Cathedral. The procession will begin at 6 a.m. and is anticipated to reach the San Francisco border with Daly City between 9 and 9:45 a.m. It will then proceed via Mission Street, 14th Street, South Van Ness, Ellis Street, and Gough Street to Geary.
The procession will make one stop mid route at the Parish Church of St. John the Evangelist at Mission Street and St Mary’s Avenue. Approximately 30,000 people, 25 horses, and 18 vehicles (includes sound trucks, floats, Red Cross vans, Radio La Raza trucks, water and supply trucks) will be a part of this procession.
Shared Spaces Larkin
Saturday, Dec. 9: Larkin Street between Eddy and O’Farrell will be closed for a Shared Spaces event. Larkin Shared Spaces provides outdoor space for a community festival with music, arts, and games. This event occurs on the second Saturday of each month through the end of 2023.
There will be a required street closure of Larkin Street between Eddy and O’Farrell will be closed from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Menorah Lighting in Jane Warner Plaza
Monday, Dec. 11, 2023: There will be a Menorah Lighting event in Jane Warner Plaza in The Castro from 6 to 7 p.m. The last outbound stop for the F Line is Noe & 17th.
Winter Walk SF
Friday, Dec. 15 through Sunday, Dec. 26, 2023: The annual Winter Walk will return to Stockton Street between Post and O’Farrell streets beginning on Friday, Dec. 15 and continuing through Christmas Eve, Sunday, Dec. 24, 2023. A diverse program of activities which includes two open air beer and wine gardens, food vendors, live performances and lots of family-friendly activities are available.
