Events at Chase Center

Doors will open approximately one hour before each event starts.

Basketball Games

  • Saturday, January 18: The Warriors will play against the Orlando Magic. Game will start at 5:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, January 22: The Warriors will play against the Utah Jazz. Game will start at 7 p.m.

Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:

  • 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before an event ends and 45 minutes after an event ends.

Taxi Stands

  • Taxi Stands are located on Terry Francois Boulevard, one northbound and one southbound.
  • Ramp taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way (formerly South Street) at Bridgeview Way.

 

Chinese New Year Flower Fair

Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19: The Chinese New Year Flower Fair hosted by Chinese Chamber of Commerce will be held in Chinatown from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday. For more event details, visit https://chineseparade.com/flower-market-fair/.

The following street closures will be required from 11 p.m., Friday, January 17 to 11 p.m., Sunday, January 19:

  • Grant Avenue between Clay Street and Broadway
  • Pacific Avenue between Columbus Avenue and Stockton Street
  • Jackson Street between Stockton Street and Kearny Street
  • Washington Street between Stockton Street and Kearny Street
  • Intersections: Jackson Street at Grant Avenue, Washington Street at Grant Avenue and Pacific Avenue at Grant Avenue
  • All alleys within the boundaries of the larger closure will also be closed

 

Women’s March and Rally San Francisco

Saturday, January 18: The 4th Women’s March San Francisco rally and march will take place.  at Civic Center Plaza beginning at 11:30 a.m. The march will commence from Civic Center Plaza at around 1:30 p.m. and proceeding along Market Street and ending at Embarcadero Plaza (formerly Justin Herman Plaza). There will be no activities at Embarcadero Plaza. Crowds of 30,000 to 75,000 are anticipated. For event details, visit https://womensmarchsf.org/.

Market Street will be closed to traffic between 10th and Steuart streets during the march. Cross traffic between gaps in marchers will not be allowed. Mission Street between 6th and Beale streets may be closed to create a transit only street for Muni service diverted from Market Street. Motorists should expect significant delays along the Market Street and Mission Street corridors during the closure and continuing until around 6 p.m.

There will be heavy ridership at Muni Metro and BART stations on Market Street, particularly Montgomery and Embarcadero stations during mid to late afternoon. Delays and heavy traffic on The Embarcadero should also be anticipated.

 

MLK March and Celebration

Monday, January 20: Beginning at 11 a.m. the MLK March will start near 4th and King streets and conclude at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at approximately noon. The MLK Celebration will be held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Caltrain’s Celebration Train will arrive at the 4th and King Street Station at 10:55 a.m.

 

Cruise Ship Schedule

Passengers normally begin to disembark 45 minutes after the ship arrives and unloading continues for a couple of hours.
