People’s March

Sunday, June 23: People’s March will host an event for Pride month on Polk Street and on Fern Alley in conjunction with Music City.

There will be a street closure of Polk Street between Bush and Sutter streets from 12 noon until 3:30 pm

Eid Celebration

Sunday, June 23: The TL Muslim Youth Collaborative will host their second Eid Al-Adha celebration in the Tenderloin.

Jones Street between Turk Street and Golden Gate Avenue will be closed from 7am to 7pm

Sunday Streets – Tenderloin Community Block Party

Sunday, June 23: The annual “Sunday Streets” event of the year will be a Tenderloin Community Block Party, creating two blocks of car-free fun and recreation on Golden Gate Avenue between Jones and Hyde Streets for the whole family to enjoy. Activities will take place from noon to 5 p.m.

Sunday Streets is an open streets event put on as a joint project between the SFMTA and Livable City to promote non-motor vehicle uses of the public right of way. The event is free to all participants. For event details visit www.sundaystreetssf/tenderloin.

The following street closures will be required from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 23:

    • Golden Gate Avenue between Polk and Jones streets

Events at Chase Center

Sunday, June 23 and Monday, June 24: Two concert performances will take place at Chase Center:

  • Performance by Megan Thee Stallion: The show will start at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
  • Performance by Maggie Rogers: The show will start at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:

  • 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
  • Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.

Taxi Stands
There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.

San Francisco Giants Baseball Games

Monday, June 24 through Wednesday, June 27: The San Francisco Giants will play four home games at the ballpark. Listed below are start times for these games:

  • Four games against the Chicago Cubs: 1) 6:45 p.m., Monday, June 24; 2) 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, June 25; 3) 6:45 p.m., Wednesday, June 26; and 4) 12:45 p.m., Thursday, June 27.

Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:

  • Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after first pitch until the seventh inning.
  • From the seventh inning until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
  • Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period.

Taxi Stands

  • 2nd Street, west side, between Brannan and King Streets
  • 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
  • 3rd Street, west side, north of King Street
