March for Our Lives
Saturday, March 24: The event will stage a rally at Civic Center Plaza at 1 p.m. followed by a march at 2:30 p.m. from Civic Center Plaza to Market Street ending at Embarcadero Plaza (formerly Justin Herman Plaza). The march may not completely clear Market Street until 5 p.m. All times are subject to change.

Market Street will be closed to traffic between 10th and Fremont streets from 1 to 5 p.m. Cross traffic between gaps in marchers will not be allowed. Mission Street between Van Ness Avenue and Beale Street will be closed to create a transit only street for Muni service diverted from Market Street. Motorists should expect significant delays along the Market Street and Mission Street corridors during the closure.
Sunday Streets: Excelsior
Sunday, March 25: The second Sunday Streets event of the season will be held in the Excelsior District. The route includes the bustling outer Mission merchant corridor from Theresa Street and Avalon to Geneva Avenue. The route will open the roadway to people walking, bicycling and other recreational activities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday Streets is free and open to the public.

The following street closures will be required from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:
- Mission Street between Geneva and Avalon avenues
- Intersections: Amazon Avenue, Onondaga Avenue, Seneca Avenue, Russia Avenue, Leo Street, Ruth Street, Norton Street Harrington Street, Santa Rosa Avenue, Excelsior Avenue, Francis Street, Cotter Street, and Tingley Street at Mission Street.
Cross traffic will be allowed on:
- Persia Avenue, Theresa Street, Avalon Avenue at Mission Street
Mission Street traffic will be diverted to Alemany Boulevard:
- Northbound traffic at Geneva Avenue
- Southbound traffic at Silver Avenue
Access to Safeway will only be allowed from Italy Avenue.
San Francisco Giants Baseball Games
Monday, March 26 and Tuesday, March 27: The San Francisco Giants will play their pre-season games against the Oakland Athletics at AT&T Park. Monday game will start at 7:15 p.m. and Tuesday game will start at 6:05 p.m.
The first regular season home game this year at AT&T Park will begin on Tuesday, April 3 when the San Francisco Giants will play against the Seattle Mariners.

Temporary taxi stands for the event will be in place at the following locations:
- East side of 2nd Street between King and Townsend streets, seven spaces
- West side of 2nd street between King and Townsend streets, two spaces
- West side of 2nd street between Townsend and Brannan streets, five spaces
- West side of 3rd street between King and Townsend streets, five spaces

Critical Mass
Friday, March 30th: The Critical Mass bicycle ride will begin at Justin Herman Plaza at 6 p.m. There will be heavy traffic in the area. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time.
