Sunday, November 5:  The Golden Gate Half Marathon will start at Van Ness Avenue and Bay Street and will go westbound up Laguna Street to Marina Boulevard, then through the Presidio to Golden Gate Bridge and back through the Marina and Fort Mason, ending at Aquatic Park.  The race will take place between 6:30 and 10:30 a.m.

The following street closures will be required:

6:30 to 8 a.m., Sunday

• Southbound Van Ness Avenue from North Point to Bay streets
• Westbound Bay Street from Van Ness Avenue to Laguna Street

6:30 to 10:30 a.m., Sunday

• One westbound lane on Marina Boulevard from Buchanan Street to Marina Gate
• Laguna Street between Bay and Beach streets
• Westbound Beach Street between Laguna and Buchanan streets

Dreamforce Convention

Wednesday, November 1, through Saturday, November 11:  A street closure of Howard Street between 3rd and 4th streets will be required for the Dreamforce Convention beginning at 8 p.m., Wednesday, November 1 and continuing through 8 p.m., Saturday, November 11.

Monday, November 6 through Thursday, November 9:  The Salesforce Corporation will be holding its yearly Dreamforce Convention at the Moscone Center.  Conference hours will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., each day.  An attendance of 60,000 is expected to attend workshops and product demonstrations at Moscone Center North, South, and West.

Significant traffic congestion is anticipated in and around Moscone Center between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily for the duration of the closure. Travelers are encouraged to take public transit or use alternate routes. There will be heavy pedestrian traffic in the area.

Howard Street traffic will be detoured via southbound 2nd Street to Harrison Street, or via New Montgomery Street to Hawthorne Street to either Folsom or Harrison streets.

There will be temporary taxi stands for pick up and drop off only:

• Eastside of Third Street (northbound) between Howard and Minna streets
• Southside of Howard Street (westbound) between 4th and 5th streets

Tuesday, November 7:  The Salesforce Corporation will be holding its annual concert for the Dreamfest Convention at AT&T Park.  The event will begin at 7 p.m.

An attendance of 35K is anticipated.  Use of public transit, taxi, bicycles or walking is recommended.

Heavy traffic is expected in and around AT&T Park. Those who choose to drive should allow extra travel time.
