Veterans Day Parade

Sunday, November 10: The annual Veterans Day Parade will take place in the North Beach area, from North Point Street via The Embarcadero to Aquatic Park.

Staging will start at 10 a.m. on North Point Street between Powell Street and The Embarcadero. Parade will begin at 11 a.m. travelling north-west on The Embarcadero to Jefferson Street, then west on Jefferson Street. Parade units will disband at the last block of Jefferson Street at approximately 1 p.m.

During the parade, NO traffic will be allowed on North Point Street between Jefferson Street and The Embarcadero. Cross traffic may not be allowed. After the parade units have passed and the street is cleaned, street will be re-opened for traffic.

Dreamforce Convention

Tuesday, November 12, through Sunday, November 24: A street closure of Howard Street between 3rd and 4th streets will be required for the Dreamforce Convention beginning at 6 a.m., Tuesday, November 12 and continuing through 8 p.m., Sunday, November 24.

Tuesday, November 19, through Friday, November 22: The Salesforce Corporation will be holding its yearly Dreamforce Convention at the Moscone Center. Conference hours will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. An attendance of 60,000 is expected at Moscone Center North, South and West. Significant traffic congestion is anticipated in and around Moscone Center between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily for the duration of the closure. Travelers are encouraged to take public transportation or use alternate routes. There will be heavy pedestrian traffic in the area.

Howard Street traffic will be detoured via southbound 2nd Street to Harrison Street, or via New Montgomery Street to Hawthorne Street to either Folsom or Harrison streets.

There will be temporary taxi stands for pick up and drop off only:

  • Eastside of Third Street (northbound) between Howard and Minna streets
  • Southside of Howard Street (westbound) between 4th and 5th streets

Chase Center Events

Events at Chase Center

Saturday, November 9 through Tuesday, November 12: There will be multiple events at the Chase Center. Doors will open approximately one hour before each event starts.

NCAA Basketball Game

  • Saturday, November 9: USF Dons Double Header, the first collegiate basketball game, will take place at the Chase Center: USF Women’s team takes on Stanford at 3 p.m. and the Men’s team plays Princeton at 6 p.m.

Basketball Games

  • Monday, November 11: The Warriors will play against the Utah Jazz. Game will start at 7:30 p.m.

Concerts:

  • Tuesday, November 12: Santana will be performing. Show will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:

  • 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before an event ends and 45 minutes after an event ends.

Taxi Stands

  • Taxi Stands are located on Terry Francois Boulevard, one northbound and one southbound.
  • Ramp taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way (formerly South Street) at Bridgeview Way.

 

Cruise Ship Schedule : October – December

Typically passengers begin to disembark 45 minutes after the ship arrives and unloading continues for a couple of hours.
