How Weird Street Faire
Saturday, Oct. 14: The 24th annual How Weird Street Faire will be held from noon to 8 p.m. on Howard and 2nd streets. Heavy pedestrian traffic is expected in the area. Event participants are encouraged to take public transportation to the event. For event details visit https://howweird.org.
The following street closures will be required from 6 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 14 to 2 a.m., Sunday Oct. 15:
- Howard Street between 1st and New Montgomery streets
- 2nd Street between Folsom and Mission streets
- Minna Street between 1st and New Montgomery streets
- Natoma Street between 1st and New Montgomery streets
- Tehama Street between 1st and New Montgomery streets
- Intersection(s) closed: Howard, Tehama, Minna and Natoma Streets at 2nd Street.
Bearrison Street Fair
Saturday, Oct. 14: The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the Bears of San Francisco will be holding the second annual Bearrison Street Fair from noon to 6 p.m. The event will be held primarily on Harrison Street between 10th and 13th streets. Hyde St – Demonstration Gardens

Lesbians Who Tech Conference 2023
Monday, Oct. 16 through Saturday, Oct. 21: The 10thAnnual Lesbians Who Tech & Allies Summit event takes place in the Castro Theatre and on Castro Street from Wednesday, Oct. 18 to Friday, Oct. 20, with street closures beginning on Monday, October 16. Effective from 12:01 a.m., Monday, Oct. 16 through 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 21, Castro Street between Market and 19th streets is closed. The intersection of Castro and 18th streets remains open.
Events at Chase Center
- Friday, Oct. 13: $uicideboy$ will perform in concert beginning at 6:30 p.m., doors open at 5:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 14 and Sunday October 15: P!NK will perform in concert both nights at 7:30 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 18: The Golden State Warriors will play a pre-season game against the Sacramento Kings beginning at 7:00 p.m.
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
- Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16thstreets.
There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.
