Red Bull Bay Climb

Saturday, Oct. 23: The annual Red Bull Bay Climb bicycle event will take place in Potrero Hill. The event will take place on De Haro Street from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event consists of a number of races in different categories over the course of the day – all taking advantage of San Francisco’s hilliness by having the races go uphill.

The following street closures will be required from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday:

  • De Haro Street between 17th and 22nd streets
  • Mariposa Street between Rhode Island and Carolina streets
  • 18th Street between Rhode Island and Carolina streets
  • 19th Street between Carolina and De Haro streets
  • Southern Heights Avenue between Carolina and Rhode Island streets
  • 20th Street between Rhode Island and Carolina streets
  • Intersections at De Haro Street: Mariposa, 18th, 19th, 20th and Southern Heights Avenue

Bearrison Street Fair

Saturday, Oct. 23: The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the Bears of San Francisco will be holding the inaugural Bearrison Street Fair. The event will be held on Harrison Street between 10th and 13th streets; 11th Street between Folsom and Harrison streets; and 12th Street between Bernice and Harrison streets. The event is to celebrate who you are or who you want to be as it promotes body positivity and community. An attendance of 2,500 participants is expected. The following street closures will be required from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday:

  • Harrison Street between 10th and 13th streets
  • 11th Street between Folsom and south side of Harrison streets
  • 12th Street between Bernice and Harrison streets
  • Intersections at Harrison Street: 12th, Norfolk and 11th streets
  • FLACC 2021: Sii Agua SiSaturday, Oct. 23: The FLACC will inaugurate their first outdoor dance festival entitled Sii Agua Si on Saturday. The event will take place on 18th Street between Church and Dolores streets from 3 to 9:30 p.m. Mendell and 3rd streets.

A street closure of 18th Street between Church and Dolores streets will be required from 2 to 10 p.m.

Statuto Race

Sunday, Oct. 24: The 100th annual Italian Club Statuto Race will begin at 9 a.m. in North Beach. This race consists of an eight-mile run and a two-mile walk starting from Washington Square Park to North Point to Herb Caen Way along the waterfront to Bryant Street and return to Washington Square. The following street closures will be required from 7 a.m. to noon:

  • Stockton Street between Union and Filbert streets
  • North Point Street between Stockton Street and The Embarcadero

Events and Basketball Games at Chase Center

Thursday, Oct. 21 through next Thursday, Oct. 28: There will be events and basketball games at the Chase Center. Listed below are times of each event with time when door will open:

  • Thursday, Oct. 21: The Warriors’ home opener against the LA Clippers will take place. Game will start at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 22 and Saturday, Oct. 23: The Eagles, an American Rock band, will perform at the Chase Center. Concert will start at 8 p.m., both nights. Doors will open at 6 p.m., both Friday and Saturday.
  • Thursday, Oct. 28: The Warriors will play against the Memphis Grizzlies at the Chase Center. Game will start at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:

  • 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before an event ends and 45 minutes after an event ends.
  • Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.
Taxi Stands
  • There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
  • Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way (formerly South Street) at Bridgeview Way.
