Outside Lands
Friday, Oct. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 31: Outside Lands will be held in Golden Gate Park from noon to 10 p.m., each day. Attendance of 70,000 participants is expected per day. Taxi
Temporary taxi stands for the event will be in place at the following locations from 9 a.m., Friday to 2 a.m., Monday:
- Southside of Fulton Street between 28th and 29th avenues
- Southside of Fulton Street between 24th and 25th avenues
Kroctoberfest
City Impact Block Party and Festival
On Saturday, Oct. 30, the Tenderloin community will be hosting a pre-Halloween block party on Jones Street between Eddy and Turk streets.
Jones Street between Eddy and Turk streets will be closed from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday.
Halloween
- Sunday, October 31: Motorists may experience delays and should allow extra travel time. While no major street closures have been planned in the Castro/Noe/Mission areas, San Francisco police officers will monitor pedestrian and automobile traffic for any necessary public safety street closures.Neighborhood trick-or-treat closures have been permitted on some streets around the City, particularly in the Ingleside areas. Motorists should be attentive for street closures, slow down and be aware of children trick-or-treating throughout the City.
Events and Basketball Games at Chase Center
- Thursday, Oct. 28: The Warriors will play against the Memphis Grizzlies. Game will start at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 29: Concert performance by James Taylor will start at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 30: The Warriors will play against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Game will start at 5:30 p.m. Doors will open at 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, Nov. 3: The Warriors will play against the Charlotte Hornets. Game will start at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before an event ends and 45 minutes after an event ends.
- Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.
- There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
- Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way (formerly South Street) at Bridgeview Way.
