Events at Chase Center
Thursday, Aug. 24 to Monday, Aug. 28: There will be multiple shows to take place at Chase Center:
- Thursday, Aug. 24: Day 2 of circus show by Cirque Du Soleil: CORTEO with the Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group will begin at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 25: Day 3 of circus show by Cirque Du Soleil: CORTEO with the Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group will begin at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 26: There will be three shows on Day 4 by Cirque Du Soleil: CORTEO with the Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group: 1) 1stshow will begin at 11:30 a.m. with doors open at 10:30 a.m.; 2) 2nd showwill begin at 3:30 p.m. with doors open at 2:30 p.m.; and 3) 3rd show will begin at 7:30 p.m. with doors open at 6:30 p.m.;
- Sunday, Aug. 27: There will be two shows on Day 5 by Cirque Du Soleil: CORTEO with the Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group: 1) 1stshow will begin at 1 p.m. with doors open at noon; 2) 2nd and last showwill begin at 5 p.m. with doors open at 4 p.m.
- Monday, Aug. 28: Performance of “GLORIA The Tour” lead by Sam Smith will begin at 8 p.m. with doors open at 7 p.m.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
- Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.
Taxi Stands
There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.
San Francisco Giants Baseball Games

Friday, Aug. 25 to Wednesday, Aug. 30: The San Francisco Giants will play six home games at the ballpark. Listed below are start times for these games and SF Giants to play:
- Three games against the Atlanta Braves: 1) 7:15 p.m., Friday, Aug. 25; 2) 1:05 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 26; and 3) 4:10 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 27.
- Three games against the Cincinnati Reds: 1) 6:45 p.m., Monday, Aug. 28; 2) 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 29; and 3) 12:45 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 30.

To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:
- Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after first pitch until the seventh inning.
- From the seventh inning until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
- Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period.

- 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
- 3rd Street, east side, north of King Street

North Beach Pizza Festival
Saturday, Aug. 19: This is the inaugural year of the North Beach Pizza Festival, a new ticketed event showcasing some of the best pizza, bagels and beer from San Francisco. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the North Beach area, on Filbert and Stockton streets alongside Washington Square Park.
The following street closures will be required form 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday:
- Stockton Street between Filbert and Union streets
- Filbert Street between Powell and Stockton streets
- Intersection: Filbert and Stockton streets
Excelsior Block Party
Saturday, Aug. 19: The Excelsior Action Group will hold a block party on Excelsior Avenue between Mission and Paris streets.
A street closure of Excelsior Avenue between Mission and Paris streets will be required from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
San Francisco Lowriders King of the Streets
Saturday, Aug. 19: The San Francisco Lowriders Council will host the King of the Streets lowrider car show and cruise along Mission Street and through the local area. Lowriders will gather at 4 p.m. on Mission Street between Cesar Chavez and 22nd streets.
Travelers heading through or near the event area should allow extra travel time, should expect heavy traffic and possible street closures around the event area during the event hours between 2 and 10 p.m.

Bell Tower Anniversary Party
Sunday, Aug. 20: The 30th anniversary party hosted by the Bell Tower Restaurant with food and beverages as well as a stage for live music will take place on Jackson Street between Polk and Larkin streets. The event hours will be from 1 to 7 p.m.
A street closure of Jackson Street between Polk and Larkin streets will be required from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
