NBA All-Star Weekend 2025

Starting Friday, Feb. 14, through Sunday, Feb. 16, San Francisco will be hosting NBA All-Star weekend featuring some of the NBA’s biggest stars. All Star weekend culminates with the 74th Annual NBA All Star Game at the Chase Center on Sunday, Feb. 16. For additional details visit the City’s NBA All-Star 2025 page.

Thursday, Feb. 14 to Sunday, Feb. 16: The annual showcase of top rookies and second-year NBA players will take place at Chase Center. Below are schedules for these events:

Street Closures

To facilitate these events, the following street closures are in place from Tuesday, Feb. 4 and will continue through Monday, Feb. 17:

  • From 6 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4 until 11:59 p.m., Monday, Feb. 17:
    • 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry A Francois Boulevard
    • Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Bridgeview Way
  • From 12:01 a.m., Friday, Feb. 7 until 11:59 p.m., Monday, Feb. 17
    • Terry A Francois Boulevard (southbound only) between 16thStreet and Mission Bay Boulevard

Additional street closures will also be implemented over the weekend when events take place:

  • From 8 a.m. to conclusion of event each day, Friday, Feb. 14 through Sunday, Feb. 16:
    • Terry A. Francois Boulevard between 16th Street and Warriors Way
  • From 3 p.m. to conclusion of event each day, Friday, Feb. 14 through Sunday, Feb. 16:
    • Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way
    • Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.

Taxi Stand (In place on event dates, Friday, Feb. 14 through Monday, Feb. 17)

Event at Chase Center

Wednesday, Feb. 19: Performance by JJ Lin.will take place. Show will start at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:

  • 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
  • Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.

Taxi Stands

There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.

Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.

Chinatown Community Street Fair

Saturday, Feb. 15 and Sunday, Feb. 16: The Chinatown Community Street Fair will be held this weekend. The street fair will take place along Grant Avenue between Clay and Broadway streets from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The following street closures will be required for the event from 11 p.m., Friday, Feb. 14 to 11 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 16:

  • Grant Avenue between California Street and Broadway
  • Pacific Avenue between Columbus Avenue and Stockton Street
  • Jackson Street between Stockton and Kearny streets
  • Washington Street between Stockton and Kearny streets
  • Intersections at Grant Avenue: Jackson Street, Washington Street and Pacific Street
  • All alleys in the area bounded by California Street, Stockton Street, Broadway and Kearny Street

Chinese New Year Parade

Saturday, Feb. 15: The Chinese New Year Parade will start from 2nd and Market streets at 5 p.m. The parade will travel west on Market Street, west on Geary Street, north on Powell Street, east on Post Street and north on Kearny Street to Columbus Avenue. The parade will disperse on Columbus Avenue between Pacific and Washington streets. For event details, visit https://chineseparade.com/.

Staging of the floats will begin at 10 a.m. in the parking lane of Main Street between Market and Harrison streets. The following street closures will be required:

  • From 2 p.m.:
    • 2nd Street between Market and Mission streets
  • From 3 p.m.:
    • Main Street between Harrison and Market streets
    • Market Street between Main and 3rd streets
    • Main Street between Harrison and Market streets
    • Geary Street between Market and Powell streets
    • Powell Street between Geary and Post streets
    • Post Street between Powell and Kearny streets
    • Kearny Street between Post Street and Columbus Avenue
  • From 5 p.m. to approximately 9:30 p.m.:
    • Columbus Avenue south of Pacific Avenue
    • Jackson Street between Kearny and Sansome streets
    • Washington Street between Kearny and Sansome streets
    • Clay Street between Kearny and Sansome streets

Beginning at 3 p.m., Mission Street between 5th Street and The Embarcadero will be designated as transit-only street until Market Street re-opens to transit.

Traffic along Market Street will be diverted during the event:

  • Westbound to Howard Street
  • Eastbound to Folsom Street
