

Bob Weir Memorial at Civic Center Plaza
Saturday, Jan. 17: There will be a public gathering in honor of Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir in the Civic Center Plaza from 12:45 to 2 p.m., Saturday. A procession down Market Street between 7th and 9th streets will begin at 12:30 p.m.
The following street closures are required from 6 a.m. to midnight, Saturday:
- Grove Street between Van Ness Avenue and Polk Street
- Grove Street between Polk and Larkin streets
- Carlton B Goodlet Pl (Polk Street) between Grove and McAllister streets


Events at Chase Center
- Thursday, Jan. 15: The Warriors will host a home game against the New York Knicks. Game will begin at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
- Friday, Jan. 16: The Bruce-Mahoney Basketball Doubleheader between Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (SHC) and St. Ignatius College Preparatory boys and girls basketball teams will take place at the Chase Center. The girls varsity basketball game will tip off at 5 p.m., and the boys varsity basketball game will tip-off at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 4:15 p.m.
- Saturday, Jan. 17: The Warriors will host a home game against the Charlotte Hornetts. Game will begin at 5:30 p.m. Doors will open at 4 p.m.
- Sunday, Jan. 18: The Harlem Globetrotters will play at the Chase Center. Game will begin at 3 p.m. Doors will open at 2 p.m.
- Monday, Jan. 19: The Warriors will host a home game against the Miami Heats. Game will begin at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Jan. 20: The Warriors will host a home game against the Toronto Raptors. Game will begin at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after the event.
Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.
Taxi Stands
There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.
Other pickup/drop-off locations near Chase Center
- 4th Street, which connects to Chase Center via the Gene Friend Way pedestrian path on the UCSF campus.
- Owens Street, which also connects to Chase Center via the Gene Friend Way pedestrian path on the UCSF campus.


MLK March and Celebration
Monday, Jan. 19: Beginning at 11 a.m. the MLK March will start near 4th and King streets and conclude at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at approximately noon. An MLK Celebration will be held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Caltrain’s Celebration Train will arrive at the 4th and King Street Station at 10:40 a.m.
