Downtown First Thursdays
Thursday, Feb. 6: The Downtown First Thursdays (DFT) event will take place on 2nd Street from 5 to 10 p.m. This is a free monthly street party that takes place on every first Thursday of the month. For more details, visit www.dftsf.com.
The following street closures will be required from noon until midnight, Thursday:
- 2nd Street between Market and Folsom streets
- Clementina Street between 2nd and 1st streets
- Jessie Street between New Montgomery and 2nd streets
- Minna Street between New Montgomery and 1st streets
- Natoma Street between New Montgomery and 1st streets
- Stevenson Street between New Montgomery and 1st streets
- Tehama Street between Hawthorne and 1st streets
These intersections will remain open at all times: 1) 2nd and Mission streets; 2) 2nd and Howard streets.
NBA All-Star Weekend 2025—Street Closures In Advance of Event
Friday, Feb. 7 through Monday, Feb. 17: In preparation for the annual showcase of top rookies and second-year NBA players which is scheduled to take place at Chase Center beginning on Friday, Feb. 14, the following street closures will be required:
- From 6 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4 until 11:59 p.m., Monday, Feb. 17:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry A Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Bridgeview Way
- From 12:01 a.m., Friday, Feb. 7 until 11:59 p.m., Monday, Feb. 17
- Terry A Francois Boulevard (southbound only) between 16thStreet and Mission Bay Boulevard
The following are schedules for these events:
- Friday, Feb. 14: The NBA All-Star 2025 show will start at 6 p.m. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 15: The State Farm All-Star Saturday Night show will start at 5 p.m. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Feb. 16: The 74th Annual All-Star Game will start at 5 p.m. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will also be implemented over the weekend:
- From 8 a.m. to conclusion of event each day, Friday, Feb. 14 through Monday, Feb. 17:
- Terry A. Francois Boulevard between 16th Street and Warriors Way
- From 3 p.m. to conclusion of event each day, Friday, Feb. 14 through Monday, Feb. 17:
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way
- Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.
Mission Bay Boulevard South, south side, east of 3rd Street.
Larkin Street Roadway Shared Space
Saturday, Feb. 8: The Tenderloin Lower Polk Merchants and Property Owners Association will host their monthly Roadway Shared Space on Larkin Street. Larkin Street between Eddy and O’Farrell streets will be closed from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday.
