

U.S. Navy Fleet Week
Monday, Oct. 6 through Monday, Oct. 13: Fleet Week will be held along Fisherman’s Wharf, the Marina District and Piers 30, 32 & 35 on The Embarcadero.

Street Closures
Jefferson Street between Hyde Street and westerly terminus will be closed from 6 a.m., Friday, Oct. 10 to 10 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 12.
Taxi Stands
Taxi stands to allow taxis to service the event are at the following locations:
- Beach and Hyde streets
- Pier 39


Dreamforce Convention
Sunday, Oct. 5, through Sunday, Oct. 19: A street closure of Howard Street between 3rd and 4th streets will be required for the Dreamforce Convention beginning at midnight, Sunday, Oct. 5 and continuing through 10 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 19.
Sunday, Oct. 12: Beginning at 10 p.m., the closure of eastern half of 4th Street between Mission and Folsom streets will be enforced.
Monday, Oct. 13 through Thursday, Oct. 16: During these dates, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., each day:
- NO traffic will be allowed on 4th Street between Mission and Howard streets, except Muni buses and shuttles
- Vehicle access to Howard Street between 5th and 4th streets and to 4thStreet between Howard and Folsom streets will be via Howard Street at 5th Street
Tuesday, Oct. 14, through Thursday, Oct. 16: The Salesforce Corporation will be holding its yearly Dreamforce Convention at the Moscone Center. Conference hours will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. An attendance of 30,000 is expected at Moscone Center North, South and West. Significant traffic congestion is anticipated in and around Moscone Center between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily for the duration of the closure, particularly on streets immediately east of 3rd Street. Additional congestion on 4th Street from Market Street and on Mission Street between 3rd and on 4th Streets is anticipated from early morning through the evening between Monday, Oct. 13 and Thursday, Oct. 16. Travelers are encouraged to take public transportation or use alternate routes. There will be heavy pedestrian traffic in the area.
From Sunday, Oct. 5 through Sunday, Oct. 19, Howard Street traffic will be detoured via southbound 2nd Street to Harrison Street, or via New Montgomery Street to Hawthorne Street to either Folsom or Harrison streets.
There will be temporary taxi stands for pick up and drop off only:
- White Zone at W Hotel, north side of Howard Street between 3rd Street and Hawthorne Street
- White Zone at Intercontinental, north side of Howard Street at 5th Street
- Southside of Howard Street (westbound) between 4th and 5th streets


Events at Chase Center
- Thursday, Oct. 9: The Warriors will host Open Practice presented by Waymo. Show will begin at 5:30 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 10: Performance by Playboi Carti will take place. The show will start at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 11: First Performance by Dua Lipa will take place. The show will start at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 12: Second performance by Dua Lipa will take place. The show will start at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after the event.
Taxi Stands
There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.


Chinatown Night Market
The following street closures will be required from 3 to 10 p.m., Friday:
- Grant Avenue between Sacramento and Jackson streets
- Commercial Street between Kearny Street and Grant Avenue
- Intersection: Grant Avenue and Commercial Street
All other intersections will remain open.
The night market has expanded onto Waverly Place. A street closure of Waverly Place between Sacramento and Washington streets will be in place from 1 to 10 p.m.


Larkin Street Roadway Shared Space
Saturday, Oct. 11: The Tenderloin Lower Polk Merchants and Property Owners Association will host their monthly Roadway Shared Space on Larkin Street.
Larkin Street between Eddy and O’Farrell streets will be closed from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 11.
These closures will occur on the second Saturday of every month through Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025. For details visit www.tlmpa.org.


San Francisco Lowrider Cold Frisco Nights
On Saturday, Oct. 11: The San Francisco Lowrider Council will host a lowrider cruise along Mission Street and through the local area. Lowriders will gather at 4 p.m. on Mission Street between Cesar Chavez and 22nd Street. Some transit corridors may become blocked for temporary periods of time.
There is no planned street closure.

Head West Marketplace
Sunday, Oct. 12: The Head West Marketplace event will take place in Hayes Valley. For more details visit www.headwestmarketplace.com/hayesvalley.
The following street closures will be required from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday:
- Hayes Street between Gough and Octavia streets
- Octavia Street between Hayes and Fell streets
- Linden Street between Octavia and Gough streets


Italian Heritage Parade
Sunday, Oct. 12: The annual Italian Heritage Day Parade will be held in North Beach and Fisherman’s Wharf beginning at 12:30 p.m. from Jefferson and Powell streets and proceed to Washington Square. The parade should last two and a half hours. For event details, visit sfitalianheritage.org .
The parade formation will require the following street closures, beginning at 7:30 a.m.:
- Powell Street between Chestnut and Beach streets
- Stockton Street between Bay and Beach streets
- Beach Street between Mason and Stockton streets

- Francisco Street between Stockton and Mason streets
- Powell Street between Lombard and Filbert streets
