Chase Center Events this Week
Thursday, May 5 through next Monday, May 9: There will be performances and playoff games at the Chase Center:
- Jo Koy will perform two comedy shows:
- Thursday, May 5: Show will start at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
- Friday, May 6: Show will start at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
- The Warriors will play two playoff games against the Memphis Grizzlies:
- Saturday, May 7: Game will begin at 5:30 p.m. Doors will open at 4 p.m.
- Monday, May 9: Game will begin at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:
- 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
- Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
- Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.
Taxi Stands
- There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
- Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way (formerly South Street) at Bridgeview Way.
SF Giants Baseball Games
Thursday, May 5 through next Wednesday, May 11: The San Francisco Giants will play seven home games at the ballpark. Listed below are teams to play and start times for these games:
- Four games against the St. Louis Cardinals: 1) 6:45 p.m., Thursday, May 5; 2) 7:15 p.m., Friday, May 6; 3) 4:15 p.m., Saturday, May 7; and 4)1:05 p.m., Sunday, May 8.
- Three games against the Colorado Rockies: 1) 6:45 p.m., Monday, May 9; 2) 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, May 10; 3) 12:45 p.m., Wednesday, May 11.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:
- Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after first pitch until the seventh inning.
- From the seventh inning until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
- Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period.

- 2nd Street, west side, between Brannan and King Streets
- 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
- 3rd Street, east side, north of King Street
SF Lowriders Council Cinco de Mayo Car Show and Cruise
Saturday, May 7: The San Francisco Lowriders Council will gather for a car show and cruise on Mission Street. The car show will be at John O’Connell High School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cars will “cruise” on Mission Street between Cesar Chavez and 24th streets starting at 4 p.m.
Throughout the cars cruising event:
- Mission Street will remain open to traffic.
- Muni buses along Mission Street will be re-routed to South Van Ness Avenue.
- With exception of Muni buses, cross traffic at the following locations along Mission Street will be closed during the event:
- 23rd Street
- 24th Street
- 25th Street
- 26th Street
Art Walk Balboa Village
Saturday, May 7: This family friendly community event will take place in the outer Richmond district, from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 7. It is a free event organized by Art Walk SF to celebrates art, music, food and small businesses.
To facilitate this event, the following street closures will be required from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, May 7:
- Balboa Street between 35th and 39th avenues
- 37th Avenue between Anza and Balboa streets
