San Francisco Giants Baseball Games

Friday, Aug. 12 through next Thursday, Aug. 18: The San Francisco Giants will play seven home games at the ballpark. Listed below are start times for these games and teams to play:
  • Three games against the Pittsburgh Pirates: 1) 7:15 p.m., Friday, Aug. 12; 2) 6:05 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 13; and 3) 1:05 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 14.
  • Four games against the Arizona Diamondbacks: 1) 6:45 p.m., Monday, Aug. 15; 2) 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16; 3) 6:45 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17; and 4) 12:45 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 18.

Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:

  • Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after first pitch until the seventh inning.
  • From the seventh inning until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
  • Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period.

  • 2nd Street, west side, between Brannan and King Streets
  • 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
  • 3rd Street, east side, north of King Street

Pistahan Parade and Festival

Saturday, Aug. 13 and Sunday, Aug. 14: The 29th annual Pistahan Festival will take place at Yerba Buena Gardens from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., each day. For more event details, visit www.pistahan.net.

Saturday, Aug. 13: A parade for the Pistahan Arts Festival will begin at Grove and Larkin streets in Civic Center with an opening ceremony at 10 a.m.

The parade will start at 11 a.m. traveling east on Grove Street, east on Market Street, south to 4th Street, and into Yerba Buena Gardens, where the Pistahan Festival will be held on both Saturday and Sunday.

Cross-traffic will be allowed between parade units on an intermittent basis.

Grace Notes Community Music Festival

On Saturday, Aug. 13, there will be a small music festival and community gathering on the site of the historical Black Hawk Jazz Cafe and the playground across Hyde Street, as well as in the street. The Hyde Street Community Music Program at Demonstration Gardens is sponsoring the Grace Notes Music Festival Summer 2022 in partnership with SEIU Local 87, Friends of Turk & Hyde St, Hyde Street Studios, and Faithful Fools.

A closure of Hyde Street between Turk and Eddy streets will be required from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 13.
