Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16: The 56^th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival will be held. The festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day with the Grand Parade being held on Sunday. For event details visit www.sfcherryblossom.org.

The following street closures will be required:

• From 4 a.m., Saturday, April 15 to 11 p.m., Sunday, April 16:
  • Post Street between Laguna and Fillmore streets
  • Webster Street between Geary Boulevard and Sutter Street
  • Intersection: Webster Street at Post Street
• From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 16:
  • Post Street between Fillmore and Steiner streets

The parade units will gather at Civic Center at 11 a.m. on Sunday for the Cherry Blossom Grand Parade. The parade will begin at 1 p.m. and follow a route from Polk and McAllister streets, north on Polk Street and west on Post Street to disband between Fillmore and Steiner streets.

All intersections along the parade route will remain open except when the parade passes. Streets will re-open as soon as possible after the parade passes and the streets have been cleaned.

Temporary Tax Stand: There is one located at 1574-1598 Geary Boulevard.
