Saturday, April 29: The annual Cesar Chavez Parade will begin at 11 a.m. Participants will gather at 19^th Street between Dolores and Guerrero streets at 9:30 a.m. The festival will be held on 24^th Street between Folsom and Bryant streets from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For details visit cesarchavezday.org.

The parade will proceed from Dolores and 19^th streets, east on 19^th Street, south on Mission Street, east on 24^th Street to Folsom Street. The festival area will take place on 24^th Street between Folsom and Bryant streets. Streets will re-open as the parade passes.

The following closures will be required for the festival from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.:

• 24^th Street between Folsom and Bryant streets
• Lucky Street between 24^th and 25^th streets
• Treat Street between 23^rd and 25^th streets
• Balmy Street between 24^th and 25^th streets
• Harrison Street between 23^rd and 25^th streets
• Alabama Street between 23^rd and 25^th streets
• Florida Street between 23^rd and 25^th streets
• Intersections closed at 23^rd Street: Lucky, Treat, Balmy, Harrison, Alabama and Florida streets.

• 16^th Street between 3^rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
• Warriors Way between 3^rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
• Northbound 3^rd Street between 16^th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
• Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16^th streets.

• There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
• Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.

• • 4^th Street which connects to Chase Center via Gene Friend Way pedestrian path which cuts through UCSF campus.
  • Owens Street connects to Chase Center via Gene Friend Way pedestrian path which cuts through UCSF campus.
