Castro Night Market

Friday, Aug. 15: The Castro Night Market will take place from 5 to 10 p.m. on 18th and Castro streets. For more details, visit castro-night-market. This event will occur on the third Friday of every month: Sept. 19 and the last event of 2025 will take place on Oct. 17.

The following street and parking lot closures will be required from noon to midnight, Friday, Aug. 15:

  • 18th Street between Collingwood and Hartford streets
  • The SFMTA parking lot behind Walgreens

Golden Gate Park Concerts

Friday, Aug. 15: Live in Concert at Golden Gate Park by Zach Bryan will take place. Show will begin from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday. Attendance of over 60,000 participants is expected. For more event details, visit goldengateparkconcerts.com.

Taxi

Temporary taxi stands for the event will be in place at the following locations from 9 a.m., Friday to 2 a.m., Monday:

  • Irving Street between 26th and 27th avenues. (Taxi Zone)
  • Fulton Street between 24th and 25th avenues. (Taxi Zone)
  • Fulton Street between 28th and 29th avenues. (Taxi Zone)
  • Larkin Street. between Hayes and Grove streets. (Taxi Shuttle Service to Festival)

SF Giants Baseball Game

Friday, Aug. 15 through Sunday, Aug. 17: The San Francisco Giants will play six games at the ballpark. Listed below are the start time for these games:
  • Three games against the Tampa Bay Rays: 1) 7:15 p.m., Friday, Aug. 15; 2) 6:05 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 16; and 3) 1:05 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 17.

Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:

  • Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after the first pitch until the seventh inning.
  • From the seventh inning until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
  • Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period.

  • 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
  • 3rd Street, west side, north of King Street

Heart of the Richmond District Night Market

Saturday, Aug. 16: The Heart of the Richmond District Night Market, second of a series of four family-friendly night markets will take place in the Richmond District on Saturday, from 4 to 8 p.m. This event will repeat on Saturday, Sept. 20.

Clement Street between 22nd and 25th avenues will be closed from Noon to 11 p.m., Saturday. All intersections will remain open.

SF Pizza, Bagel, Beer Festival

Saturday, Aug. 16 : North Beach’s Little Italy is famous for its Italian food, particularly its pizza and pinsa, one of Italy’s greatest culinary contributions to the world. Twenty of the best pizzerias in the San Francisco Bay Area will be showcasing their craft for the public to sample in the heart of North Beach to support local non-profits including Salesian Boys & Girls Club and San Francisco Italian Athletic Club Foundation, Sts. Peter & Paul School, North Beach Business Association and Slice out Hunger. The event covers two blocks of North Beach on Stockton and Filbert streets along Washington Square. The following street closures will be required from 8 a.m., Friday, Aug. 15 to 10 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 16:

  • Stockton Street between Union and Filbert streets
  • Filbert Street between Stockton and Powell streets
Valkyries

Events at Chase Center

Sunday, Aug. 17 through Tuesday, Aug. 19: There will be multiple events to be held at the Chase Center:
  • Sunday, Aug. 17: The Golden State Valkyries will play against the Atlanta Dream at the Chase Center. The game will start at 5:30 p.m. Doors will open at 4 p.m.
  • Monday, Aug. 18: Performance by Kali Uchis will take place. The concert will start at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 19: Performance by Phoenix Mercury will take place. The concert will start at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:

  • 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after the event.
  • Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.

Taxi Stands

There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.

Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way at Bridgeview Way.
