Western Addition Music (WAM) Fest
Saturday, August. 20: Western Addition Music Festival (WAM Fest) is a new music event on three blocks of Fillmore between Geary & Turk. The theme for this event is Jazz and Blues, and it will occur from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The following street closures will be required from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, August 20:
- Fillmore St between Geary and Turk Street
Low Riders in the Mission
Saturday, August. 20: The San Francisco Low Riders Council will be gathering in the Mission on Saturday, August 20, starting at 2 pm.
The following streets may be congested with vehicles between 2 pm and 10 pm.
- Mission between 20th and Cesar Chavez
- 24th St between Valencia and Capp
SF Giant Race 2022 Run
Sunday, August. 21: The annual San Francisco Giants Race 5K & 10K run will take place. The 5K course tours the scenic San Francisco waterfront and finishes on the field at Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. - Eastbound King Street between 3rd St and Townsend and 3rd streets
- Northbound Embarcadero between Townsend Broadway and Broadway

Excelsior Block Party
Sunday, August. 21: Excelsior Coffee will be holding a block party community event with food and music.
The following street closures will be required from 12 noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, August 21:
- Excelsior Street between Mission and London streets
- Excelsior Street between London and Paris streets
Sunday Streets SOMA
Sunday, August. 21: Sunday Streets is an open streets event put on as a joint project between SFMTA and Livable City to promote active lifestyles and bicycle and pedestrian activities. These events are streets closed to traffic and turned over for bike and pedestrian activities. For this event, Folsom will be closed from 9th St to Spear from 10:00 to 16:30. The event will take place between 11:00 and 4:00.
The following street closures will be required from 12 noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, August 21:
- Folsom Street between 9th St and Spear Street
