Día de los Muertos
(Festival of Altars and Day of the Dead Procession)

Saturday, November 2: The annual celebration of Festival of Altars and Day of the Dead Procession will take place in the Mission District. Staging of Day of the Dead procession will begin on Bryant Street and the Festival of Altars will take place in Potrero de Sol Park from 4 to 11 p.m. For more event details, visit www.dayofthedeadsf.org.

Beginning at 6 p.m., staging of the procession will start on southbound Bryant Street between 19th and 24th streets. The procession will begin at 7 p.m. at Bryant and 22nd streets and follow the route west on 22nd Street, south on Mission Street, east on 24th Street to San Bruno Avenue, then south on San Bruno Avenue to Potrero de Sol Park.

End of Daylight Saving Time

Sunday, November 3: Daylight Saving Time will end at 2 a.m., Sunday. Clocks should be set back one hour at this time.

Golden Gate Half Marathon

Sunday, November 3: The Golden Gate Half Marathon will start at Van Ness Avenue and Bay Street and will go westbound up Laguna Street to Marina Boulevard, then through the Presidio to Golden Gate Bridge and back through the Marina and Fort Mason, ending at Aquatic Park. The following street closures will be required:

6:30 to 8 a.m., Sunday

  • Southbound Van Ness Avenue from North Point to Bay streets
  • Westbound Bay Street from Van Ness Avenue to Laguna Street

6:30 to 10:30 a.m., Sunday

  • One westbound lane on Marina Boulevard from Buchanan Street to Marina Gate
  • Laguna Street between Bay and Beach streets
  • Westbound Beach Street between Laguna and Buchanan streets

Chase Center Events

Friday, November 1 through Monday, November 4: There will be multiple events at the Chase Center. Doors will open approximately one hour before each event starts.

Basketball Games

  • Friday, November 1: The Warriors will play against the San Antonio Spurs. Game will start at 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 2: The Warriors will play against the Charlotte Hornets. Game will start at 5:30 p.m.
  • Monday, November 4: The Warriors will play against the Portland Trail Blazers. Game will start at 7:30 p.m.

Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:

  • 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before an event ends and 45 minutes after an event ends.

Taxi Stands

  • Taxi Stands are located on Terry Francois Boulevard, one northbound and one southbound.
  • Ramp taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way (formerly South Street) at Bridgeview Way.

 

Cruise Ship Schedule : October – December

Typically passengers begin to disembark 45 minutes after the ship arrives and unloading continues for a couple of hours.
