

Workday Rising 2025
Friday, Sept 12 through Saturday, Sept. 20: To support the Workday Rising conference to take place beginning on Monday, Sept. 15, a street closure of Howard Street between 3rd and 4th streets will be required from 12:01 a.m., Friday, Sept. 12 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 20. There will be additional closures of curb lanes only in the vicinity of Moscone Center.
Monday, Sept 15 through Thursday, Sept. 18: The Workday Rising Conference will take place at Moscone Center.
Temporary Taxi Stand
- South side of Howard Street between 4th and 5th streets
- 2nd Street, west side, between Brannan and King streets
- 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King
- 3rd Street, west side, north of King Street


Chinatown Night Market
The following street closures will be required from 1 to 11:59 p.m., Friday, Sept. 12:
- Grant Avenue between California and Pacific streets
- Waverly Plaza between Washington and Sacramento streets
- Commercial Street between Grant Avenue and Kearny Street


San Francisco Giants Baseball Games
- Three games against the Los Angeles Dodgers: 1) 7:15 p.m., Friday, Sept. 12; 2) 6:05 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13; and 3) 1:05 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 14.
Street Closures
To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:
- Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after the first pitch until the seventh inning.
- From the seventh inning until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
- Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis and bicycles during the post-game period.
- 2nd Street, west side, between Brannan and King Streets
- 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
- 3rd Street, west side, north of King Street


Empire 15 Concert
Saturday, Sept. 13: A free concert performance by Empire 15 will take place at Civic Center Plaza, from 3 to 7 p.m. For event details, visit www.empire15.com.
The following street closures will be required:
- From 7 a.m., Friday, Sept. 12 to 11:59 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13: Grove Street between Polk and Larkin streets
- From 1 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13: Polk Street/Goodlet Place between McAllister and Grove streets


Shanghai Kelly’s 40th Anniversary Celebration
Saturday, Sept 13: Shanghai Kelly has been an iconic neighborhood bar on the Polk Street business district for four decades. The bar will celebrate with a small party that will include beverages and booths from noon to 8 p.m.
Polk Street between Pacific Avenue and Broadway will be closed from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13.

Fiesta de las Américas
Saturday, Sept 13: Calle 24 will host their annual Fiesta de las Américas street fair in the Mission District on 24th Street. This is a free, family-friendly event celebrates the rich cultures, arts, and music of the Americas with live performances, vendors, and community activities. The following street closures will be required from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13:
- 24th Street between Folsom and Bryant streets
- Harrison Street between 23rd and 25th streets
- Adjacent alleys within the boundary of the event


Bar Iris Annual Party
Sunday, Sept. 14: Bar Iris will be holding its annual party on Polk Street.
A street closure of Polk Street between Green and Union streets will be required from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14.
