NBA Finals at Chase Center

 

Thursday, June 16 through Sunday, June 19: Warriors playoff games and watch party against the Boston Celtics will take place:
  • Thursday, June 16: Game 6 Watch Party will begin at 6 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 19: Game 7, if needed, will begin at 5 p.m. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m

Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the arena, the following street closures will be enforced two hours before and one hour after each event:

  • 16th Street between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Warriors Way between 3rd Street and Terry Francois Boulevard
  • Northbound 3rd Street between 16th Street and Warriors Way will also be closed approximately 30 minutes before and 45 minutes after an event.
  • Only local access will be allowed on Northbound Illinois Street between Mariposa and 16th streets.
Taxi Stands
  • There is one taxi stand located on southbound Terry Francois Boulevard.
  • Ramp Taxis should use the loading zone on eastbound Warriors Way (formerly South Street) at Bridgeview Way.

Street Closures

To accommodate events that will take place at the ballpark, the following street closures will be enforced:

  • Two and a half hours before the opening pitch, the SFMTA will close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic. King Street will reopen after the first pitch until the seventh inning.
  • From the seventh inning, until post-game traffic dies down, the SFMTA will again close eastbound King Street between 3rd and 2nd streets to vehicle traffic in order to reduce congestion on city streets.
  • Additionally, the northbound portion of the 4th Street Bridge (Peter R. Maloney Bridge) will be closed to all traffic except Muni, taxis, and bicycles during the post-game period.
Taxi Stands
  • 2nd Street, west side, between Brannan and King Streets
  • 2nd Street, east side, between Townsend and King Streets
  • 3rd Street, east side, north of King Street

North Beach Festival

Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19: The 66th annual North Beach Festival will take place in the North Beach District. Event will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., each day. For more details, visit www.northbeachfestival.org.

The following street closures will be required from 12:01 a.m., Saturday to midnight, Sunday:

  • Columbus Avenue between Broadway and Green Street
  • Grant Avenue between Columbus Avenue and Filbert Street
  • Green Street between Grant and Columbus avenues
  • Vallejo Street between Grant Avenue and Stockton Street
  • Intersections: Vallejo and Green streets at Grant Avenue, Grant Avenue at Columbus Avenue

Juneteenth Freedom Celebration

Saturday, June 18: The annual Western Addition Juneteenth celebration will take place on Fillmore Street from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For additional information visit https://juneteenth-sf.org.

The following street closure will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday:

  • Fillmore Street between Geary Boulevard and Fulton Street
  • O’Farrell Street between Fillmore and Steiner streets

Juneteenth at African American Art & Culture ComplexSaturday, June 18: Along with the traditional Juneteenth celebration on Fillmore Street, the African American Art & Culture Complex will be holding Juneteenth celebrations from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fulton Street and in their lot.

The following street closure will be in effect from 4 a.m. through 10 p.m., Saturday:

  • Fulton Street between Webster and Laguna streets

Juneteenth in Bayview

Sunday, June 19: SF Black Wallstreet is bringing their third annual Juneteenth celebration to the Bayview-Hunters Point community at Gilman Park. For additional details, visit www.sanfranciscojuneteenth.com.

The following street closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

  • Gilman Avenue (eastbound travel lanes only) between Bill Walsh Way and Hawes Street
  • Bill Walsh Way between Gilman and Ingerson avenues
  • Ingerson Avenue between Bill Walsh Way and Gilroy Street
